Minister Approves Kerang Christian College Design & Technology and Canteen Building Project for 2020

I am pleased to announce along with our College Board that Dr Anne Webster MP, Member for the Mallee notified us that the Design & Technology and Canteen Building Project at Kerang Christian College has received approval from the Minister. The Australian Government will provide $1,227,000 towards the building project through the Capital Grants Program, facilitated by VIS BGA (Victorian Independent Schools Block Grant Authority). Building works will commence early in 2020, and we anticipate that the buildings will be complete for use in the 2021 School Year. The building will feature a traditional science room, a design, woodwork, and technology room, a science preparation room, two store rooms, a kitchen and canteen with an outdoor seating area as well as the relocation of portables and a playground. Building plans are on display in the College lobby for the College community to view. We would also like to express gratitude to the Kerang Christian College Board Resource Planning Committee as well as McKnight & Bray Building and Design for partnering with us through the approval, planning, and construction process. We would also like to acknowledge Paul Gill and Kirstie Ford for fulfilling the role of Project Managers. We praise God for His provision and for the generosity of the VIS BGA Board and are excited to see His School continue to grow. Wayne Barker, Principal.
