It was a pleasure to meet with students and their families at the Senior School Information Evening on Wednesday, 6th August. Staff at the College appreciated the opportunity to share more about the expansion of Kerang Christian College and the opportunities available for students as they transition into VCE in 2015 and 2016.
It has been an exciting start to Term 3 with the announcement of our Year 11 and Senior Secondary VCE registration for 2015. There has been plenty of conversation about subject choices, pathway options and career choices.
The College is still accepting enrolment applications for Senior School classes for 2015. For more information about enrolment at the College, please see: www.kccs.vic.edu.au/enrolment.
The development of the VCE subjects offered by Kerang Christian College has been a careful process. Over the past year, the College has been researching the potential directions and needs of the existing Senior School student cohort, and the subject selections of past students. Kerang Christian College is excited about the plans to offer the following VCE subjects in 2015:
Food & Technology
Health & Human Development
History: 20th Century
The Leadership team at Kerang Christian College and the College Board remain committed to providing the best possible educational experience that can be delivered to our students with available resources. Our Board is dedicated to developing our school into a Prep to Year 12 Christian College. In the end, it is our students who stand to gain from the efforts of our Board and staff at the College. We are determined to maintain the tradition of excellence in Christian education at Kerang Christian College.
