Kerang Christian College Expands in 2012
This year is another historical year for Kerang Christian College. The College will commence Year 8 studies this year. The College is in the process of expanding the Secondary School.
The College also welcomes Mr Michael Bond who has been appointed the Principal. Mr Bond will lead as the Principal of the College and Head of Primary School.
The College offered Year 7 studies for the first time in 2011 after the opening of a $1.24 million Secondary School building in 2010.
The new facilities include modern, state of the art amenities including classrooms with modern technological teaching aids, library and home economics facilities.
Mr Bond said that the College is excited about offering the community an opportunity for students to be educated at a Christian school.
“Last year was a successful year with the introduction of Year 7. We wish to continue this positive momentum in the Secondary School. Kerang Christian College has a focus on academic excellence and provides students with an awareness and understanding of Christian perspectives and values," he said.
Mr Graeme Coleman will continue in his role as Head of Secondary School in 2012. He has been instrumental in developing the curriculum for the Secondary School and is a much valued leader at Kerang Christian College.
